Default Key FOB Training Missing-99 C5

Good Morning,

I had my car at the tuner for mods and I'm happy with the results, 365 RWHP, but my FOB would not work. Thinking they had the battery disconnects and I would just need to go through the DIC and reprogram. Well I no longer have the FOB training available. Just curious if anyone else has ever experienced this ???

Thanks,

Jim

Use the DIC and read the DTCs and see if you have DTCs or NO COMMS for the RFA.

Are you able to read tire pressures and does the info change if you add or remove air?

If you have DTCs, CLEAR ALL of them and see what returns. Report those.

You can also press and hold the LOCK & UN-LOCK on the FOB down at the same time for 15-30 seconds until the horn toots and that will RESYNC the fobs back to the car.

Hello Jim, I am having exactly the same problem. The Key Fob Training Option disappeared completely from the DIC. Now I am on a quest to figure out how to add that option back into the BCM. If I have any success, I will certainly share that information.

Thanks,
Walter

I suggest that you want to re-pull the codes and carefully write them down.

Is it possible that sensor B0 - RFA is not showing up at all when you pull the codes????
You're right...sorry wrote the codes too quickly...I have:

U1096H
U1064H
