Default Pilot bearing install??

Hey guys I'm installing my new Monster Clutch and have a question about the pilot bearing.
Which way does it go in?
One end is closed so the inner bearing can't come out of the race. The other is open where you can see the 2 separate sections.

When end goes into the motor and which faces the torque tube?
Any special tricks to pressing it in?
Thanks

The PB goes in with the orientation that you can't see the inner race. One direction should have a kind of rounded inner edge; that's the side you want facing the TT, the "sharp" side should face the engine.

That's how mine was stock when I pulled it, and how I put the new one in. Makes sense when you think about it, and I have no issues now that it's all back together and running.

Did the heat help you get that old bearing out? Was going to call you late Monday but it was WAAAAY LATE before I remember I wanted to call.
