Hello to all. I am new to the c5 world, though not to the legendary Vette family. I have a 2004 base convertible being shipped to my home in a week or so, and have already begun the search for mild/modest performance upgrades. Looking high and low across the web, I can not figure out if/when the C5 base and Z06 began to share the same intake manifold. And even if they did at some point, is it still worth a swap if no consideration to heads/cams/lifters in a current/future upgrade? I have already figured out the exhaust solution and CAI (which would set off a firestorm from what I have read here.....)
Don't remember the exact year, but it was around 2001/2002 and I know my 2002 began life with the LS6 intake and the LS6 block with internal windage. You have the LS6 intake and if you find the part number on it you can easily verify.

All 2001 and newer use the same manifold, so no need to "upgrade" since you already have the "LS6" manifold. (assuming it is the original one for the car)
Your all set on your intake manifold with a stock LS6 on your car.
I can def make a recommendation since your in DE.....your lucky enough to have HPA (Horse Power Addicts) close to you in New Castle/Bear DE.
Skip all the little bolt-ons and have them slap their cam package in your car for a instant 60+ RWHP for $1800 installed/tuned out the door. You will not regret it. Josh is great and knows his stuff, he is there to help you regardless of "making a sale" or not.
