You don't hear much about these anymore. You do get some gains but if you plan on doing more mods later on, and maybe a better cam you probably won't be able to use those rockers.
Don't forget you need valve springs as well because the stock valve springs are marginal at best. If you have an LS1, then the LS6 springs may works but I tend to go to the PSI 1511ML spring for a long lasting behive design spring.
I have an LS6 cam and was thinking it would be mild enough for them.
You would still be under .600" lift with that cam and the 1.8 rockers but as Vettenuts mentioned you will need better springs to control the heavier rockers. If you are running the stock pushrods consider upgrading them as well. Add the cost of those items to the rockers and you you are spending a fair amount of money for relatively small gains.
It would probably work out better for the OP's LS1 cam.
Then again, for the money, a cam swap sounds better in that case too.
The way the article explained it sounded like they had less strain on the valve-train components than a cam with a higher ramp speed.
