So, after washing the exterior I was sitting in my preshuz, detailing the interior when the whirring of the side bolster inflator motor started up by itself as if by magic. No amount of wiggling the switches, or doing anything else made a difference so I had to unplug the motor leads. Anyone ever experience this particular gremlin? I'm hoping that since I just washed the car, the most likely cause is water in the pass. side "udder", the plastic box under the battery. Hopefully it will return to normal operation when it dries out? Why in heck did they put electrical connectors in a water bucket?

The seat bolster electrical stuff has NOTHING to do with anything other than the seat its self.
What most likely happened is the blader or the hose that attaches the pump module to the bladder is damaged. If the pump module doesnt detect pressure inside the bladder, it will run and try to reestablish the proper pressure.
Pinch off the supply hose so the pump/control module can build pressure and see if the pump stops.
All of the seat control fuses are HOT at ALL TIMES so, if anything is wrong, it can and will run all the time.
