Does your ballancer have a larger diameter towards the block than the front?

Thanks

No, don't lubricate the seal where it rides on the hub.

I think you can put on the water pump as you should still be able to get at the A/C belt. Also, the rack if it is still out and get your steering shaft back on. Then the alternator bracket can go on. Just make sure you have access to the belts, i.e., don't install anything that will prevent correcting your current issue.

If you have an old belt laying around that is longer you could cut it and then holding the tensioner half way through the stroke install and put a line where it overlaps. That would give you a measurement. If you don't have an old belt, you might be able to use thin rope (don't stretch while measuring) that is the same thickness of the belt. That would give an approximation since they don't come in super fine length increments.

Wonder what one size shorter would be, and if it would fit.

When do you think you will start it?

Im very happy...I only forgot to plug the two rear 02 sensors. I will buy them tmr and do another sounds clip.

Also, when i tried to turn on the A/C it would blow warm air, and the light on the ac button would just keep shutting off...

And another thing, my sound system would keep shutting off...for a split second. You could hear very faint music during those split seconds..

This is what it sounds like warm. Stock Tis and the catless longtubes from ARH.

Thanks Vettenuts, for all the help, I owe you one!

Very glad you got it running. Sounds good. Any abnormal lifter noise? It will be louder than stock, but I didn't hear any loud noises in the video.

Check to see if that belt is not turning the A/C compressor when you turn it on.

I am actually heading for PEI in the morning

The lifters sound fine. I cant really hear anything, even with the hood up. If I stick my head down, I can hear a slight sewing machine sound( I know very well what sewing machines sound like, I'm in the textile business).

The exhaust is muffling any motor noise from what I'm understanding.

I had someone keep pushing the Ac button while i was looking at the belt, I didn't see any abnormalities or slippage. But the light keeps turning off about 3 seconds after you push it.

Also the check engine light goes on. When it does, it idles a little better.

Also if i delete the codes while driving, it really studders bad and I have a hard time keeping it alive...take about 45 second of playing with the throttle, then it starts idling OK.

I'm getting:

P0106 HC
P0140 C
P0160 C

And the Radio is okay now... I think its due to an update on my cell phone

Have a great trip man, hope you enjoy yourself , maybe get to go fishing?

I was actually surprised how well it was idling on the stock tune. Likely tuning will clear up the issues you are having except for the A/C.

Yes i hope so. Still trying to decide who to go to. Will a tuner also be able to get rid of Twillight?

Heres a video with the rear O2 sensors plugged up wih the motor at operating temp. It's a little bit more quiet but it sounds very good. I don't see how some guys run around with straight through mufflers especially in the city...

Yes I went to a shop called Bonhomme Performance. I was very pleased with the way he worked. He put the sniffer in the wideband bumg of the x pipe. Also set redline to 6850 RPM. He said if we were to go higher rod bolts will be an issue.

He tuned out rear O2s. And also said he tuned out the air pump?? I have to look into that as my Halltech i take had no provisions for the air tube.

Im no extpert, so here are the results.
