I cant remember if the 98 has this connection/s or not but take a look. It came from the factory with the 12 disk installed.
My 02 ZO6 didn't have a 12 changer in the rear and I added one using the COHAR extension cable connected to theses connections. The install was really easy once I found the two connectors. They are very small and were taped together onto the harness:
