so after much debate on fixing the C 1243 stalled pump & Abs Traction control service light I decide to flush the brake fluid and see what happens, then the C 1217 code shows up and the shop
cannot find the electrical problem from code C1217 so I read this forum follow all the instructions on here and check the Abs 40 Amp Maxi Fuse and it’s blown! Buy a new one and the problem is solved! No more Abs Traction control Active Handling lights! Yeeepeee! Thanks to all u guys who put ideas into this Kudos to you all!
I had all but given up on my ABS/AH/TC on my 2000 vert. I exercised the pump for several times over a few hours, reassembled, cleared codes, removed window valet and the error codes persisted. Found this thread, and sure enough the 40 amp fuse was blown. Popped in a new one and I’m good to go. Took it out in the rain and commenced hard braking, donutting, and kicking out the rear end. Had a blast! And the ABS, AH, and TC kicked in as it should.
I’m super pumped! Drove around with those darn lights on for about a year.
My next move was pulling to dash lights just to get rid of them.
