Default 12 disc cd player

I have a cd stuck in the trunk mounted player. I can eject the cartridge and see the cd, but cannot get it out. Is there a trick to this?

My recommendation would be to remove the changer from the car and open up the housing. You should be able to get to the stuck CD. There are 4 or 6 screws holding the cover on the changer.

Not overly complicated, but I wouldn't trust my wife to do it.
You might find a long slender piece of wood, or plastic helpful (not talking about the wife). Takes some patience (still not talking about the wife).

I assume the CD isn't the cartridge, but in the player itself?

I just fixed my 12 CD last week. Had to unplug it and take it out, then take it apart to get a home made CD out of it that the previous owner had put in. Total time was about 1/2 hour. Not that complex, obviously, if I can do it
