I don't have the F55 suspension but wonder if the shocks are stuck in sport mode or something to that effect. Is there a fuse to pull that would allow the shocks to work as normal non magnetic shocks? This would help narrow down the issue.

LOL!! If you have oil on the shock,,, its TOAST. If you want to keep the MAG F-55 Shocks, you will have to dish out $800-900 a shock at dealer prices.
Call Gene Culley at CULTRAG Performance. He has some better prices on the F-55 shocks. Dealer prices are OUT OF THIS WORLD!

RECOMMENDATION!

You can Install some GM C6 ZO6 shocks. They area DIRECT FIT and they will really firm the car up and allow you to drive it like it was meant to be driven. You can get them fro approx. $350 for a complete set of FOUR.
You will have to de-program the F-55 RPO out of the BCM using a GM Tech 2 to run a non F-55 Shock or you will get DTCs and the car will be limited to 80 MPH.

If you want to keep the F55 system you can actually buy the complete "kit" for less than buying the four shocks individually........weird but true.

------------------------------------------------------------------
Entire F55 kit w-shock, computer, sensors

GM# 12499507
---------------
$2351.90

http://paceperformance.com/i-6255329...m-upgrade.html

or for a bit more: (nice pic of the kit)

https://www.gmpartsoutlet.net/oem-pa...r-pkg-12499507
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
or Amazon has the AC Delco replacements for the GM F55 shocks

Amazon ($2085.11 a set of 4)

Rears:

ACDelco 580-1059 GM Original Equipment Rear Driver Side Shock Absorber
Price: $487.02 Free Shipping for Prime Members
OEM Part Number 19302788

ACDelco 580-1060 GM Original Equipment Rear Passenger Side Shock Absorber
Price: $499.53 Free Shipping for Prime Members
OEM Part Number 19302789

Fronts:

ACDelco 580-1058 GM Original Equipment Front Shock Absorber
Price: $549.28 Free Shipping for Prime Members
OEM Part Number 19302787
--------------------------------------------------------------

My 03 only has 32k on the F55s but I already found a set of lightly used C6 Z06 shocks waiting in my parts box.
