Clutch help
It's a big job so definitely wise to replace the clutch while you're at it.
I'm planning to do a Monster clutch, light weight flywheel, new slave cylinder, and remote bleeder. runs about $790 from Tick Performance.
The remote bleeder lets you change the clutch fluid when it gets dirty... which is frequent in these cars. Probably part of the reason your slave died.
It might also be worth calling around to a few GM performance shops in your area to get a quote on the labor, just to compare.

There are OTHER things that need to be checked and repaired while you are ding a clutch
Torque Tube rubber couplers and differential seals
Find a corvette shop and go with them. Dealer gouges you on LABOR and parts.
