My C5 is blowing air out all vents. It can select other vents from the control panel, and they move on the panel but the vents don't move. I have hot air on the driver side and cold on the passenger. I removed the dash pad and replaced the driver side actuator. Cleared all the codes, pulled fuse 27. I hear it doing something, but the vents aren't moving! I have cleared the codes and pulled fuse 27 several times but it still blowing out all vents and hot on the driver side! Please help before I catch it on fire!!
PLAIN AND SIMPLE! You are missing vacuum signal to allow you to move the vacuum actuators that nove the dampers.
The vacuum signal origionates from the back of the intake manifold, runs through a very thin NYLON vacuum line down to the vacuum pluming in the passengers fender well and into the cabin under the passengers side of the foot well.
Battery acid plays hell on that nylon vacuum line which is inside the main wiring harness at the rear of the engine.
