Cruise Control drops out
On my 2003 Vert (automatic) I can be cruising along at speed and the cruise control drops out. I can re-set it no problem. It's not all the time but it does happen.
Any ideas of what's going on?

Have you pulled codes to see if there is any info stored that may narrow down the cause??? Several possible PCM codes related CC.
Possibly an improperly adjusted brake switch that causes the CC system to think the brake was depressed on a rough road.

I would also check to see if your third brake light may be burnt out. Had the exact same thing happen to me on a 2006 Grand Prix GXP. Sure enough it was a third brake light burnt out. Not sure why GM put the cruise control and third brake light on the same circuit but this is common on many GM cars.
