C5/C6 Coilover Shock and Spring Specs
I'm getting curious about coilovers and I am thinking I might be able to piece my own kit together cheaper than I can buy a specific kit. The reason for this is because I have the tooling and ability to rebuild and revalve shocks in house but need to find some information first.
If anyone has a front and rear coil-over shock out of their car, I am looking for the following information from 1 front and 1 rear shock and spring.
Spring
- Spring Height
- Spring Diameter
Shock
- Extended Length
- Compressed Length
- Body Diameter
- Body Length
If I am able to pull this together, and come up with a good setup, I may be able to provide to the public a quality setup for less than some of these bigger brands with custom valving options and spring rates.
This is step 1. I appreciate everybody's help!
