Default Stronger start-up

Hi CF Guys and Gals,
Hey, how can I get my C5 to have a stronger start-up? It's kind of weak right now and I want a more stronger and powerful sound/start-up. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks.

I will definitely clean those points but will have to tell you what the battery voltage reads for sure tomorrow. I can tell you now that it reads zero before I crank it and I think that it moves to half when it does

Assuming it's not a starter problem,
I'd check and clean all connections and load test
your battery to actually measure the Cranking Amps & Cold Cranking Amps of your battery.
Voltage means very little (unless it's just way too low- under 12.0)

Might I suggest you get one of those gear reduction starters. That would give you what you're looking for. Do a Google search for C5 Corvette gear reduction starter. Several available from different folks. Price ranges are from $175-350. Do some research on them, I think that's what you're after.

HOW, are you reading voltage??

Have the battery removed from the car. Fully charge it and take it to an auto parts store and have them fully test it for:

CCA
Reserve Capacity
Recovery rate

When the engine is cranking, what voltage do you read directly on the battery terminals??????
