I think that will work for me. I'm going to take my car to a muffler shop and get an estimate on having the work done.
Although the bypass thread is 9 years old the exhaust system is the same and I now have pictures to show to the muffler guy.
If anyone reading this has the mod would you please chime in on it. I would love hearing how it worked out for you!
Thanks!
Right on, I didn't know about this mod until I was searching on here also lol! I'm going to do the same thing and show the exhaust or fab shop the pictures. I'll take off and put on the exhaust myself so that will save on labor

Not sure why so many are saying you can't take the stock exhaust off on jack stands. I did it when I did the bypass mod, took about an hour to remove and install.

I think you would be surprised. The titanium system weighs about half what the stock system weighs. I bought mine back in 04 from a Forum member and the shipping was very reasonable.

I seem to recall about $30 from Massachusetts to eastern NC.

Good luck... GUSTO

Yeah I have my stock titanium system laying around my garage, it is super light. If he wants a shipping quote I'm sure my buddy wouldn't mine checking.

Lo and behold, another setback!
I found a muffler shop close to my home and decided I would take my vert in and get a quote on the bypass mod. Printed out the pictures and have everything ready to go Monday morning.
This morning on the way to a breakfast meeting with a bunch of our motorcycle friends I mentioned to my sweet wife of 51 years what I was going to do. She looked at me and said "I like it quite why do you want to change it? I don't like loud cars.". I told her it won't be loud just a little more throaty. She's against it.
I'm doing it anyway! If the price is no more than $150 I'm doing it! I am. I'll let everyone know Monday. I'll buy her some dang earplugs.

My sweet wife of 18 years is the opposite; she thinks my Z (headers, Magnaflow cats and X into Ti's) should be a bit louder.

Worst case scenario you spent maybe $150 and don't like it. Most do. But if you don't, you could probably swap it to someone back to a base system again.
I did mine with the stock exhaust. Here are two videos first one is with stock manifolds. Second is with shorty headers.

Because should you sell the car for any reason, you can sell the Ti exhaust on its own for more than you'd get for it attached to the car.
