Im getting the fuel gauge showing empty and code 2066. I know there is the Techron treatment and new level sensors. Im going to be replacing my hacked stock driver pump to a new GM unit and ECS fuel system to feed the superchager already on there. Should I just go ahead and install a complete new pump on the passenger side instead of just the sensor? Ive torn this car apart too many times and as the saying goes "while youre in there"......... I think I know the answer, replace it. Does the passenger pump ever get tired? Cars an 04 with 110k miles.

It has a SYPHON JET that uses a small stream of fuel (supplied by the drivers side pump) to squirt into a venturi tube which causes fuel to flow from the passengers side to transfer into the drivers tank.
SO, you could make sure that there isn't any debris in that tank and the venturi is clean and able to flow fuel.
Ya I know that thanks. Does it ever fail? Id hate to replace the sensor and the following week the SYPHON JET fail or something and Id have to pull the tank again.
