Can you drive the car without sway bars on just to try and find a noise coming from under my car? Just around the block to eliminate the sway bars as being the problem.
I bet the noise you're trying to track down is the end links 'klunking'. For about 50% of the posting authors (me included), there was no remedy. Depends on the sway-bar manufacturer--something in the manufacturer's specs create that damn 'klunk' and sometimes even new endlinks won't solve it.

What is about the end links that makes the noise. I've noticed it since I did my balancer replacement and I had the front sway bar off.
Prob just your front links then...
You could just pull them off , zip tie the actual swaybar , then
go for a test drive to see if your noise is gone..
If it is, then just get some new end links...
You might also really check the actual bushings on the bar itself..
Sometimes they don't like being "disturbed"
You are fine driving without the sway bars, but don't push it too much. It will not handle as well and will lean more in corners.
The noise with the end links is from 2 sources. The end links have a ball socket on each stud. If they are worn the ball will have some play in the socket which means a knocking noise as it moves. The other is from the nuts not being tight enough which lets the stud move some in the bracket causing noise.
When I did my sway bar upgrade, I had noise after putting it together. I tightened the nuts a little more and the noise was gone. I thought I had tightened them enough the first time, but apparently I didn't. (I know there is a torque spec on the nut and I didn't use a torque wrench because it was more difficult to get it into a position to work.)
Good luck.
