A few months ago, my wife's corvette started having many of the problems described in Bill Curlee's thread. I could not find all the grounds, but after cleaning the ones I could find, the car ran fine for a few months. I also cleared all of the DIC codes.
Now fast forward to the past few days, same problem as before, bells and lights going off, Low fuel, Reduced Engine Power, Traction Control, other random failure codes and the windows do not roll down, the door locks do not unlock, and the list goes on and on.
Rick, could be several things. My first thought was possible ignition switch issues (well known on our C5s) or possibly one of the door modules. However, here's a link that is almost identical to yours and what his problem was and how he fixed it. It's sort of old and the pictures are missing but you'll get the drift. Check it out. http://www.arizonacorvetteenthusiast...-system-fixed/
The No Comm on the LDCM might be where I'd start. Bill Curlee says to grab the accordian cover (when the door is open) and shake the crapola out of it. Might simply be a bad connection in the wires there.

Brother.......... Your issue is not ground related.
The electrical connectors inside the DOOR/s A pillar (remove the rubber accordion tube) has damaged female pins in the SIX PIN POWER CONNECTOR. They are spread apart and make shitty connections. That corrupts the serial data buss!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fix the damaged SPREAD APART female pins, clear all those damn DTCs and see where your are at!!
Thanks all, I found the connector in the A pillar, what a pain in the a$$, not to mention I had trying to separate electrical connectors.
Bill I'm not sure what you mean by "fix the damaged SPREAD APART female pins. I really am not a mechanic, but will attempt most anything, just know sure what to do?
Okay, took an educated guess, pushed the female so that it would make better contact with the blades, I think.
Cleared all the codes, took the wife's car for a spin, the driver's side window worked, no bells and lights, however the driver's door did not unlock when I turned off the car, but the passenger's side did?
Checked the codes when I got back and had the below codes:
Thank you 8Vette7 for the information. I did everything you suggested except disconnect the negative battery cable, duh!!!! Have not done much mechanical work on a car, but I should have remembered to disconnect the battery.

Does the driver's door unlock if you use the driver's side door switch?
Correction, I HATE trying to separate electrical connectors.
Absolutely the truth Rick! We might know how to take em apart but they can still be a PITA. We got your back bro! Diligence and patience will persevere.

Yes the driver's door locks and unlocks when using the driver's side door switch, and with the key fob. I told my wife check out the lock when she is driving today. Maybe in all my excitement of no "Bells and Lights" going off I was not paying attention? Will know more when she gets back home.
Very nice!!! My wife is taking her car out today, so keep your fingers crossed. If all goes well, thanks to everyone on this forum who made me a genius in my wife's eyes, if all does not go well there will be more than 3 cuss words spoken.
