pull the plastic cover out, I believe it's just a cigarette lighter socket

You could replace it with a $10.00 double USB like this.

It's a constant positive so you can charge a cell phone without the car running.

I moved mine over to have both accessory and USB

Since I don't have any electrical toys, I never paid attention to see whether my car had that "doo-hickey" or not. I went out for a ride today, and stopped for gas. As I opened the console, to release the gas door, I took note of what was in there. I do have that plug, but mine is covered by a flat plug cover.

Its a 12 VDC AUX Power outlet that you can plug in any electrical 12 VDC Cigar type plug.
