Is there anything special I should do with regards to the magnetic select ride suspension system on my 04 while it's in storage for four or five months? I feel guilty just parking it on Flat Spot Stoppers and covering it up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
The only LONG TERM Storage tips that I can give ya is:
- Add fuel stabilizer, Fill up the tank, run the car to distribute the stabilized fuel to the fuel system.
- When it in its resting place, Remove the battery. Store the battery in a cool dry place off of the concrete. Top it of charge wise and you should be good to go.

Nothing special about the F-55 Shocks.

Thanks Bill, I've been using a fuel stabilizer but leave the tank between 1/4 & 1/2 full. As a rule I would always fill it up before long term storage but I have read in more then one Corvette publication doing so could lead to fuel gauge issues which has been substantiated by other C-5 owners in the club I belong to. Since the mid 80's I have successfully left the batteries in all my stored vehicles connected to one of Deltran's Battery Tenders. So far the I have never had a battery failure. Actually my primary concern was with the suspension system but as you said there doesn't seem to be anything special that needs to be done. I looked around web and had conversations on this subject with two GM service managers and so far neither had come up with anything special. One club member told me I wouldn't need to use the Flatstopper if I inflated the tires to 50 or more lbs. I just replaced the TPMS sensors and there is no way I would ever subject them to that much pressure over a long period of time. That sounds just plain crazy to me. So thanks again and if you ever come up with anything you think I should know please don't hesitate to drop it on me.
