Default Headlight Issues - 98 C5

Okay, so I had a problem where my headlights would pop up when turned on, but the lights weren't illuminating. Or they wouldn't pop up at all.

Replaced headlight switch with OEM part. Worked fine a few times and now the problem is back. Headlights pop up but no lights, or they won't pop up, or when the lights do work they go off sometimes like when I use the turn signal.

Any ideas at all?

Could be many things.
My first thought is the headlight control module located up and under the passenger headlight.

Do some google searches of
97-04 corvette headlamp control module

Here is some work I did awhile back on Headlight Control Module. As far as I know, HCM only controls doors up or doors down. I do not think it has anything to do with whether lights come on or not.

I would check fuses, connections, especially at that new switch, bulb sockets and grounds. Oh, and bulbs of course.

Headlight fuses are #8, #9, #10 and #12 in under hood fuse box.
