Default Misfire

Had misfires, P0300, in the upper RPM range on the track this weekend. Few questions:

- Unfortunately I cleared the code thru the DIC. BUT I understand that if I checked it with HPTuners I'd be able to narrow the cylinder?

- It seems rare that coil packs go out... in BMW world this is common... but not so much in LS? And if only in upper rpm, coil seems unlikely to me.

- To check fueling, only thing I can think of is scan and see if O2s are steady.

Might be hard to duplicate on the road, so prob pull plugs and check everything. Any other advise is welcome... thanks guys.
