Default 1998 to 2002 ecm conversion help

Okay I have converted the ecm in my 1998 to a 2002 ecm with only one problem, the fuel gauge. With the setting for the 1998 fuel system the gauge reads dead empty with a full tank. when I change all fuel system settings to 2002 the gauge works but only reads 3\4 full with a full tank.where do i need to look to get the gauge to work right with the 2002 ecm? I'm tuning with HP tuners.

Before I started cutting wires I'd try to find a schematic for both and I would find the voltage values each computer is looking for to present to the gauge. Bill Curley would be my go to guy if I were you. Good luck and Merry Christmas!

Post 10 maybe what they are referring to:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-a-98-pcm.html

I found the link to that topic in here:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...orvette-3.html

I google searched the forum using:

0411 ecu 97-98 site:www.corvetteforum.com

It has been done and there are topics out there, digging it up may require getting creative with Google.

More forced induction guys have done the ECU swap. If you need more help you may try starting a topic in the Forced Induction section.
