Default LS1 vs LS2 intake manafold

Other than the larger Throttle body of the LS2 intake are there any internal differences in the two (LS1 - LS2) intakes? Runner length, size, etc. that would make the LS2 preferable for high performance use?

Thanks

As discussed and recommended many many time in the past,, use the LS6 / 2001+ manifold over the LS2 on a LS1/6 engine

What mods do you have? If close to stock, the larger TB is a waste of time as the stock TB can support 500 hp.

The ls2 intake isn't really preferable for any reason. The ls6 intake... as suggested above is a worthwhile upgrade.

Bill, I'm doing a forged LS block for a supercharger (Paxton up to about 12 PSI max). Probably going with an LS2 block to get the 4" bore. However I don't want to lose lose low end torque due to the car being street driven and cruising at about 1800 RPM (3.42 rear gears with A4). Probably going with a baby cam at about 220 intake duration at .050.

If the LS2 is slightly larger may be of benefit if little or no lower RPM lose of torque. Want to keep as much torque as possible until centrifugal kicks in.

the stock tb can support a lot more when boosted and I see the op is planning on a supercharger anyway
