I have A 2002 coupe six speed and the thing will not start and stay running. It stopped running on me A few months back and I had no fuel pressure so I replaced the pump. Now it will not get fuel pressure when you turn the key to the run position like it is supposed to. If I spin the engine over it will get pressure and start up but then the pressure goes away and of corse it dies. I have swapped relays around and I have checked my voltage at the fuse box under the hood on the relay pins 30 and 86 and both are getting battery voltage and I have a grounder on pin 85. I am not getting any thing on pin 87 with the relay in and using a jumper wire to check for voltage on that pin. If someone could tell me which pin/wire coming out of the ECM controls the relay I can see if I am getting A signal from the ECM when turn the key on and see if I have a bad wire or maybe A bad ECM. With me not getting a signal on pin #87 it could be A bad fuse box or the ECM. Any advice would be greatly appreciated because I am just not sure at this point.

Looks like dark green/white is the wire you are looking for voltage from, coming from ecm then going to the relay coil.

Do you get voltage at this terminal on relay?

You said 30 and 86 are getting 12 volts?

Are you using a multimeter or a test light?

I'm thinking if 86 is getting voltage the ecm is sending that.

Wish I had manuals with diagrams.

Just for kicks, pull that relay out and set your meter to ohms or continuity, does it have one where if you touch the 2 test leads together you get a beep?

What do you get from putting one lead on 86 and other lead on 85?

If it doesn't beep or read near zero ohms, that coil is "open" or burned out inside the relay.

I wonder if the other relay you swapped is exactly the same as the fuel pump relay.
