Default Need Technical help for a buddy

OK I need help with a technical issue, my buddy has a 55 Chevy BelAir with a 4L60E transmission and a LS1 engine, he is complaining it is not shifting correctly ALSO the rev Counter is not working as it should, as the TCU and the ECU rely on input from the engine RPM could this be causing his issue ?.

The 97-2004 LS1 Engine utilizes a Powertrain Control module to control the engine & the Trans. The SHIFT POINTS in the PCM need to be calibrated to work properly with the differential ratio, wheel size, ect.

The engine RPM comes from data inside the PCM.

Do you have a tuner or access to tuning software??
