Default Prop Shaft Coupler

I am getting ready to do bearings and couplers in my 2003 auto and thought it would have the 12mm couplers but I just saw this in an old thread:

Auto 1997-2004 - 10mm
Early manual 1997-2000 - 10mm
Late manual 2001-up - 12mm
all 2005 up - 12mm

and am now worried I will get the wrong part so is this correct or did all 2001 and up have the 12mm couplers. I am thinking about going with the BMW couplers since they are cheaper and not made in china.

Thanks

Thanks for the link. I also found this info in my searching.

The first post has a chart. I decided to go with the BMW units. I ordered FEBI which as far as I can tell are the oem units that BMW uses. Parts should start arriving today and then I will have one hell of a weekend project. My car is a daily drive so I need to get it back on the road.

No problems on my Febi BMW couplers in my 2000 FRC after 10,000 miles of use; I drive the car like it was meant to be driven, not a garage queen.

SGF GAP01-003. BMW part number that I got from the CTS-V section of LS1 tech. Amazon link www.amazon.com/dp/B00MYF4IP2?tag=viglink20380-20
Here's a link from SGF about their couplers. http://www.sgf.de/en/sgf-sueddeutsch...-coupling.html

Default Update Wrong Couplers

Had a good day wrenching taking my time and got everything taken apart. I ordered the 12mm couplers from bimmerworld.com They looked great. So when I finally got the bolts out of the coulpers I came to a sad realization, my first post apparently has the correct info in it and the really official looking chart in the link is wrong or maybe just for Z cars. Any way now I have to wait on the 10mm couplers to get here.
On a side note the coupler bolts did not want to come out until I heated them then they came right out.
