AlexTass here, new to this site but have visited numerous times before for Corvette information. I have a 1998 Convertible, recently had to replace oil pressure sending unit, took intake off to replace it all went well except when I restarted car my check engine light came on, I only ran engine until I verified that oil pressure was sending correctly to gauge, oil pressure reads 45# instead of being pegged, also digital display not reading 130psi, so all good with oil pressure sending unit, my concern is check engine light? I do not have OBD but I saw somewhere it should be found in options??/ is this correct??

Alex, welcome to the Corvette Forum...

It may be as simple as a vacuum line not being seated. Posting the codes, all of them, the C (current) as well as the H (historical) codes, will probably let us zero in on the problem.

Good luck... GUSTO

Gusto thanks for advice I was able to clear all codes, they were all history codes, no current ones. Engine light is off and car is running great I did write down all codes and when i have time will look them up.
