Power steering pump removal from bracket!!
Could somebody post a link to the way to remove the power steering bracket (separate the pump from the bracket) w/o having to take all of the pwr steering lines loose? I'm removing a chrome plated bracket and putting the stock one back in. I did this in reverse back in 2002 and I didn't have to remove the pulley to do it. There is no access hole in the plastic pulley to get at the small bolts that hold the pump to the bracket. I know that there were threads that explained the procedure but it's been a long time & I can't find any of the correct threads. Want to do this without having to pull that plastic pulley, and I didn't have to remove it before, so I know that it can be done, I'm just having a hard time remembering! Thanks!!!!
