Belt-Harmonic Balancer
Hey Guys,
I'm doing some spring time maintenance on the C5. I took a video of a cold start. It looks like my belt turns a little and I see a little wobble on the Balancer. I was hoping that someone with some experience can tell me what they think by watching the attached video. The squeaking goes away after 5 minutes.

I watched the whole thing and it does not look bad at all, mine was much worse
I did have the same belt squeal before I replaced the HB and I replaced all pulleys and tenioners along with a Gator belt, no more belt squeals.

I just posted this in another thread in the C5 General forum but...
Paint a white stripe from the inner hub, across the rubber and onto the outer ring. If the outer hub starts moving around as the balancer wears out, you'll be able to see it in the fact that your marks no longer line up.
