Did your dome lights dim when you tried to turn it over ??...if NO dimming of dome light you are not getting current to starter. you'd have to check from starter back...power to starter control wire while cranking??...I'd do a voltage drop check on both battery cables and from battery post to the cables too !!...best bet is to get a wiring diagram and if you don't have one you can get one from bbbind.com ...could be ignition switch, starter or theft deterrent relay, neutral safety or park neutral safety switch...you just have to do a logical systematic approach to troubleshooting !!
Start with getting the battery load tested. Sounds like you have a bad cell. If you hook it up to a regular charger it will show low and 10 minutes later show full charge. That would also indicate a bad cell.
I’ve had the same situation, found the probable cause here using a search — battery cables less than sufficiently tight — implemented correction and recorded my results. Others have had it be the connections at the starter. Same symptom, similar cause, different location on the car.
