I have a 2002 C5 with Dual Climate AC. A couple days ago the AC quit blowing air from the vents. After doing research, I narrowed it down to the motor itself or the controller.
I just bench tested the motor and it works.
I also disassembled the controller and there doesn't seem to be signs of damage.
Fuse 51 is fine, #18 was fine, and #27 was a lil dark but not broken.
Thanks Bill, I ended up replacing fuse #27 and putting it all back together and seems to be working fine. I’ll check the back of the board if it starts acting up again. May have had a bad connection somewhere. Made sure everything was snapped in well.
If the fuse looked weird, there could be a poor fuse spade to fuse box connection. Break the old fuse in half and use one spade to push / pull test the fuse box fuse connections. They should be nice and snug when you insert and remove the spade.
