Long shot here, but does anyone have a picture showing the location of the bolt holding the EGR piping in place behind the driver side head?
I don't feel like pulling the intake right now, so I wanted to see if I could concoct a tool rig to get that pipe off for good.
No codes thrown despite yanking the entire system aside from that pipe. At the moment, I don't remember how I got it to ignore that fact. Probably Tech2.

with the intake on I could get a short wrench on it but could not get enough leverage to break it loose... I believe it is a 15mm and for whatever reason the factory felt the need to torque the dog crap out of it... I just cut the pipe off as short as I could until I got to a point where the intake came off and then I was able to get a socket on it with plenty of leverage
With a few cuts and scratches I was able to get a wrench to the bolt and remove it. Did so, got the tube and bracket out of the way and put the bolt back in place.
On the PS I was able to cut a bit of the tube off. Unfortunately that's it. Never been able to remove the tube, I try once or twice a year.
When I had installed my headers, with great difficulty I was able to loosen the bolt on the back of the head and snake out that pipe. You don't have to fully remove the bolt, just loosen it a few turns. The bracket on the AIR pipe is slotted rather than it being a hole which would require removing the bolt entirely.
But the easier and fasted way is to just take off the intake manifold. If I would have done that in the first place, it would have been faster than fighting it with the intake in the way.

Just loosening the bolt does sound familiar. And you've given me hope on one day getting that stupid tube out, thanks! Just kept wiggling to PS?
