Check this Post. It's a reply to the same issues you're having on your driver's side headlight.

Check out my thread and do they look like this?

I had the same problem when I turned off my headlights. It was that bump stop as mentioned.

I replaced it and now works perfect.

Could you please be a little more descriptive?
It's impossible to help you without details.

Did you read the TSB I linked in the thread I gave you in Post 2? It describes the very same behavior you mentioned in Post 1 about your driver's side headlight.

Hey GCG I took apart the drivers side headlight side and top cover, it appears ok, I don't see anything out of place. The white bump stops I see 2 look like ok.

Isn’t there 4 white bumpstops per headlight?

I remember looking at mine and the two top ones were fine, but on the inside bracket on the side is two more. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Yes, there are 4 rubber bump stops per headlight (see pictures below). Check them carefully because, even though they might look fine to the naked eye from a distance, they could be damaged or scored too deep where the limiting contact is made. If you need replacements you can order them from here.

In addition to that, the TSB I mentioned before was released by GM to address the very same symptoms you described. It calls for shimming the driver's side headlight motor to solve this problem.
