Ambient Temperature Sensor
Hello All:
Quick question: I have a 99 coupe that has the manual climate control ***** (i.e., no digital display to show outside temp). Do all C5 vettes have ambient temperature sensors, or only those with the digital read outs for outside air temp? Context for the question is that my AC compressor is not kicking on, and I am trying to identify problem by process of elimination. I looked down in front chassis where temp sensor should be located and see nothing......since I am not original owner, I don't know if previous owner failed to replace after some work, or if it was not present on cars with manual climate control units out of Bowling Green.
