C5 hard steering
hey guys,
i need some help figuring out whats going on with my dads 2000 C5 corvette. So it’s starts out that we swapped a new motor into it because the last one blew. It ran great before this and everything functioned as its supposed to. After swapping the motor and getting it running, we discovered the steering was really hard!, like it had no power steering. We try the bleeding methods and nothing works. We go underneath and check it out to find everything connected from abs pigtails to the plug from the rack and pinion has been cleaned and connected. We concluded that along the lines of changing the steering wheel position sensor, so we did. No help.
Here are the codes:TCS c1232, c1233, c1234, c1235, c1255, c1281, c1288.
Let me know if youve had the same issue or is there a certain procedure to this thanks.
