By coupe are you referring to the targa hatch? Remember FRC has "coupe" in the name so it's best to state proper terminology.
All C5s have adjustment bumpers on the underside of the "trunk", including the targa hatch. On the targa the rearward most adjustment bumpers will be near the hooks for the privacy shade. If the trunk is sitting a little "high" ensure that the bumper has not pushed itself away from the trunk shell itself. You just turn it in or out by hand.
If it's as far in as it can go and it's still sitting high try lubricating the latches inside the rear plastic upholstery pieces with white lithium grease. The next time you close the trunk, push it down until it reaches the point right before it hits the latches, then with both arms spread apply a good deal of force downward onto the latches so the entire trunk latches simultaneously.
