Use a electrically conductive brand of anti seize.

The secret is NOT to use too much... All you need is enough to prevent the threads on the sensor and the threads in the collector bung not to seize. Most sensors come already coated with a dab of antiseize on the threads. If yours doesn't, just add a little.

If you remove the O2(s) for any reason you will want to reapply anti seize to the threads.

O2 sensor mfgrs say not to, but I suspect that's aimed at the folks who glob it on all over creation and it's running on the ground. Like Bill says, use very little. Make sure none can get globbed inside the exhaust where it'll contaminate the sensor.

I bought Bosch sensors. They come with a little dab on the threads. The last time I installed sensors I used a little. Has done nothing to make it any easier to get the sensors back out. Next question?

use just a little and what I like to do is use a paper towel and wipe it across the threads to get even coverage completely around the threads as well as cleaning off any excess

every o2 sensor I've ever purchased has come with a single use copper based anti-seize. I'd use it because getting them off without any a few thousand miles down the road is a real beeach.
