so my 2001 z06
McLeod Twin Disk Clutch
McLeod Adjustable Master Cylinder
Remote bleeder
clutch pedal has bad squeak.
it sounds like a spring or o-rings chattering on a shaft.
I run dot4 amsoil . Maybe that's a bad idea.
i'm hoping its cause amsoil does not have the modifiers in it to prevent chattering.
I want to try the correct (oem)oil. I bought some of this but not sure its correct? i need to make sure it has the modifiers in it before i crack it open.
is this the right stuff for a 2001?

is the noise coming from the clutch or the pedal assembly?... replacing the fluid is not going to solve either of those issues... if it's clutch chatter you have a twin disc, just something you're gonna have to deal with... if it's the pedal assembly you might be able to lube it up and keep it quiet... did you install the master cylinder?... you are supposed to leave the return spring out when you use the adjustable master, maybe it was left installed and is dangling around?
The DOT3 is suppose to be what the system was designed for. Some have had that same issues when going with a fancy DOT 4 or the higher priced racing fluids. Hell, give it a try and see if it corrects the issue. YES, that is the correct DOT3.
