Window support bar

Thought I had posted this already but can't find.

The leather on both support windows support beam is splitting. What is the proper name for this item or is it better to just have the leather replaced. Thanks for your help. Jim

Yes, it is a JPG file, I just reduced the picture size to 7 inches and it seems to work, the wiggle line is my attempt to point out what I am writing about.

I believe that's your a-pillar cover. You can pull it straight away to remove it. It has a couple of spring clips that just pop right out if you pull pretty much straight towards the driver's seat back. Maybe a little more inward towards the center of the car than that.
