Sound/Thump from under dash?
2004 Z06, hello, the other day I started hearing/feeling a thump sound from under the dash, kind of like a HVAC solenoid opening/closing. I checked the HVAC and everything seems to be working good. I only does it when the ignition is in the on position. its hard to tell if it's doing it when the engine is running. anyone experience this before? thank you Mike

04Z here also. Mine makes a thump noise after a few blocks from cold start (I can almost tell you what block it'll happen). I don't think it does lately, or I'm just so used to it that I don't take notice. Mine seems to come from the PS floor area...

Sounds like a DAMPER DOOR for the levels or intake air door is sticking or delayed in opening. I have pictures of all that stuff but the DAMN FORMUM FORMAT CHANGE prevents me from cutting and pasting it from photobucket into the post.
