Help
Completely baffled have my car up on jack stands emergency brake on in 1st gear workin on front end an car just started cranking over pulled right off stands and dragged it a few before I could get it in neutral. Kept cranking till I disconnected the battery an starts every time try to hook battery up WOW any ideas why ?

Could be ignition switch, or starter, I would say the starter solenoid is your most likely suspect. If proficient with and own a DMM connect it to the small switch terminal on the starter solenoid and check if there is 12volts on there even if the ignition switch is not in the start position. If there is no 12volts and the car still cranks over then your starter solenoid has failed allowing the starter to be powered all the time.

Thanks for the help. Uncooked wires at stater to an cleaned then up an to test like DMM said. Didn’t have power at little wire. Hooked all back up an seems fine now so ????? Thanks for all the help an hopefully doesn’t happen again. Now I can start to die all the damage from coming of the stands an dragging on the ground
