Black Jack C5
Shoulda known "universal" & Corvette don't go together. Ordered a new replacement battery tray from my local dealer and got it today. I want to do a mock up to see if I can get this to work. It looks like it will. I can use the bolt hole for the hold down clamp, but remove the captured nut. I'll need to drill a hole on the opposite side for the other hold down.
I'll post a pic once I get it mocked up.

So since the battery cables need re-routing, is there anything else I need to do here while I'm at it? Is the "Big 3" a thing for C5s?

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I need to put up the Bullets for sale. Hell, I need to post up a garage cleanout sale. Quite a few C5 & C7 parts.
Need to update my blog, too.

So I have a jumper now. It *was* stored in one of the compartments in the back.
Had my car off the charger for a few days. Came out to go somewhere. Won't start. No problemo; just get the jumper. Whoops! can't open the hatch. Sorry, not gonna crawl thru to the back to get it. Back on the charger.
Jumper is in the front seat now.
Once again, huge shout out to @BudgetPlan1 for the care he showed this car. All the appraisers were blown away on the car's condition. Had some low ball offers but ended up getting my money out of it.
Corvettes I've owned...
1997 Black/Black Coupe (new)
2001 Black/Black Z06 (new)
--- got married with children ---
2016 Black/Black Base Coupe (new)
2017 Black/Black Base Coupe (new)
2004 Black/Black Coupe (used & last)
I'll probably hang in the C8 forum to keep up with the latest & greatest.
Keep the rubber side down!
