It’s all incorrect ur system is no different then any other c5 in terms of voltages and regulation! If stock bulbs are what is good enough then hey it’s good enough it’s not like u need something special in there.

Got my oil analysis from a recent oil change. I had reached 1 year, but a bit less than 5,000 miles. Currently at about 69,250 miles.
Iron looks better this time and that bodes well for steel parts. When a metal reads lower on a
similar oil run, it usually means that a temporary factor is working itself out (maybe wear-in, for example).
For miles on the oil this time, iron is actually at a pretty good level, so we unmarked it. We wouldn't discount
the idea that it will look even better next time, though. Note the increase in silicon. Since that could be dirt,
do look over air filtration, but sealer or lube from recent maintenance could also be responsible for the extra
silicon. Moving in the right direction!
Also took the car out for a 30 minute drive today. Took it off the charger. 14 volts on the gauge immediately after startup at idle. By the time I got home, it was at 12 volts.
Well I went to install the battery and it looks like I'm going to need a different mount of some sort. The bottom of the battery doesn't have a recess or tab for the clamp to attach to. I'll see what I can dig up.
On another note, I was reflecting on the fact that it's a good thing I haven't (yet) converted to E85. Probably not a good deal when the car has been sitting so much.
Ah well, I guess I'll go plant some herbs with my peppers & tomatoes.

Makes sense now I thought u just feared putting e85 in it because it sat. I run e85 love how the car no longer has the stench of gas ! That about all I’ve drove mine since March maybe less twice. Ran fine when I went for a drive last week . U maybe should start to worry if it sat 1/2 yr or longer. Then again with a bit a of fuel stabilization it should be fine . What’s your fuel set up to even run the stuff. I use the proflex pro version

I'm a huge E85 fan. There's at least 5 stations within 5 miles that carry it. Ran my 2014 Silverado on it (flex fuel from factory) and converted my 2016 C7 to flex fuel.
