Car was running 203* water temp (with a 160* t-stat).

Oil temp was 194* and trans temp was 194*

Need a Dewitts radiator?
203 is not an issue. When do your fans turn on/off? Your fan settings control temp more then your t-stat. They were likely reset during the tune. The factory setting was 220s or 230s.

Fans were running the whole time. I'll need to pull up the tune to see where they are set.

Well, I guess the next thing is replacing the harmonic balancer. I kept smelling burning rubber when I park and knew it wasn't the tires.

ATI 10% UD Damper w/ARP bolt going on.

Probably go ahead and get the Fast92 intake & LS2 TB put on and re-tuned, too.

Not sure exactly. Maybe a month or more? Everytime I did a hard pull and then parked shortly after, I was smelling burnt rubber, but I know it wasn't my tires. This morning when I got to work, I popped the hood and took a look. Sure enough, wobble-wobble.

I've been quite aware of this issue and I don't know why I never thought to look at this.

But it turned into an opportunity to get the Fast installed.

Unfortunately, the earliest the shop can get me in is 8/22. I'll be bumming rides until then.

I'm happy with Android Auto, but I'll keep that in mind.

-----

Dropped the car off with Matt @ 21st Century Muscle Cars.
In addition to the UD & Fast/92 install, he's going to look at the A/C damper control.

Fall season for the Texas Muscle Car Club Challenge is 8/31 @ Texas Motorplex. Perfect opportunity to see what these upgrades do. Although the DA won't be anything like it was earlier this year.

Looking forward to those results!

Did you run your C7 much? Life and weather have precluded us getting to the track so far this year.

Ran the hell out of the 2016. Raced 2 seasons with TMCCC & Summit Racing Bracket Series (NoBox & Street); so three different classes in 2 series plus I did 2017 Drag Week.

That's pretty good for stock methinks.

I could have been in the 11s with better DA, but needed to get rolling on the E85 conversion. <shrug>

Well, awkward. Dyno came back 335whp/350wtq. That's down 15whp/20wtq.
Butt dyno says the car is more responsive all around. Dyno sheet says it's STD corrected so weather (temp) shouldn't be a factor.
I guess it needs a bumpier stick.

We'll see what kind of time she puts down next week.

I'll post up the dyno sheet once I get it scanned.

Looks like the powerband moved higher; not unexpected. Not sure how to explain the significant drop in power over all. The car definitely feels stronger.
Link to previous dyno.

Had a DRL light go out recently so took the opportunity to upgrade the housings to clear and do LED bulbs. Chose this kit from Sharp Light Innovations (formerly Radio Flyer Innovations). Car got rained on today, so I'll post pics tomorrow after I get her cleaned up.

Ordering: Frankly, the options are confusing. It took quite a bit of research to figure out what to order based on what I was wanting. And I still didn't end up with what I wanted, but after the fact realized how I should have ordered the kit. But I'm not now going to spend an additional $150 for "switchback" bulbs & harness. I'll live with the upgrade I have.
BTW, is there a law that requires my blinker to be yellow? I can't have a white DRL & blinker?

Review: Looks great! I really like the upgrade look. An extra awesome bonus is the flasher click is barely audible compared the factory. Love it!

Issue: Today was the first day after they were installed. When I first started the car this morning and went to look at them, the right DRL was flashing in a weird sequence. I confirmed that my blinker was not on. Turned on my left blinker and the right DRL was still flashing. Turned off the blinker and both DRLs were flashing off sequence. Turned on my headlights and it quit. They've been operating normally since.
@TheRadioFlyer is this a known issue? Any input on this?
