Default Weak HVAC Blower

HVAC blower in my 2004 has anemic air output, even on full blast. Plain old heat, no defrost, no A/C. The blower sounds like it's going as fast as it should—like a jet engine—but the air being output from the vents is like it's on the lowest setting. Same anemic flow from both the bottom vents and the dash vents. The cabin does get warm eventually, but it takes a while.

Any ideas?

Any trouble codes ?
Maybe you have lost the vacuum to the vacuum controlled actuators .
This thin plastic tube coming from the engineroom gets broken and you loose the vacuumsource for these actuators

Will check on DTCs but I don't think so. The air still comes out of the appropriate vent, i.e. when set to bottom vent, it comes out the bottom vent, when set to dash vent it comes out the dash vent. So maybe it's the Heater and Defroster Door Link? Because it's anemic whether it's on outside air or in-car air. I would think those two doors are the only ones that would apply.

Just checked—no HVAC codes. Just radio due to aftermarket double-DIN, DCM codes due to a dead battery a couple months ago, and TTMS codes due to dead sensors.

Just a hunch but I'm wondering if the blower itself isn't on it's way to crapping out. I know that YEARS AGO there used to be a Blower speed relay but to be honest I never came across this on a C5 so i can't say for sure. Just going by what I remember from years gone by.
