Help installing CD changer- do I have the right cable?
Hello-
I purchased a GM 12 disc CD changer on ebay with the cable since my 01 coupe did not come with a factory changer. I have been reading previous posts- and it looks like I should have a 3 or 4 pin connector on one side of the cable. My cable has a multipin connector w/ 7 wires leading into it. Did I get the wrong cable? Can I modify this one to work? Looks like three of the wires- a red, white, and black are bundled together.
Would appreciate any assistance. If anyone had a picture of their cable ends w/ the wires leading into it- that would really help.

one end of the cable should have a single multiple connector (Changer end), the other end should have two connectors, one 3 pin and one 4 pin (wiring harness).
the changer harness connects to the vehicle's wiring harness in the passenger side footwell.

Looks like I have the right number of wires, just the wrong plug end. Red, White, Black (bundled) and orange, purple, grey, and green. Does anyone know if the colors match up to the two plug harness? Maybe I can clip the end off and do a little cut and paste :)
