Default Spark Plugs

I want to replace the spark plugs on my 2003 LS1.The car has been Dyno tuned and has LT headers and a catback 6 speed. I was going to get the AC Delco irridium plugs but don’t know what heat range needed for this car. I’m open to suggestions.

If all you have is Headers & a Tune .. I'd just use the AC Delco Irridium stock plugs ..

I'd also change the plug wires if they haven't been replaced. I run the GMPP red wires, you can find them for about $60.

DO NOT over think plugs and wires! There is NOTHING to be gained performance wise with anything other than STOCK Plugs! Look for quality parts! Some great recommendations for the STOCK iridium's and the GM Performance RED Wires!! The red wires are very well made and will last a long time.

Those will make your engine very happy again!

If you had a crazy cam, big heads, headers, forced induction race engine, Then you would then need to worry about heat ranges and different plugs for that type of application..,

I'm about to install some NGK TR55 Iridiums in my C5Z...I think they come from the factory gapped at .060" but I'm gonna take it down to .055"...also throwing in some new GM Performance Red wires.

This is exactly what I have and had no issues whatsoever. I can’t remember if I changed the gap or not though, I’m thinking I set them at .050. Wouldn’t hurt to put some plug wire socks on there if you have headers also.
