Default Cluster goes out

I let my 02 Vette sit over the winter covered and started it today and the dash worked and then went out. I shut it off and turned the key on and the cluster was working until I started it and then it went out. This is a Convertible and while there wasn't any sign of a leak the rear glass was covered in moisture. I'm thinking a bad ground or maybe dirty ignition switch? What do you guys think?

Find the IPC FUSE and measure EACH of the test points on top of the fuse to chassis ground. Should have FULL BATTERY power on both test points KEY ON!

There are 2 grounds for the IPC...G201 (bottom of left A pillar) and G104 (frame next to battery)….ground goes through SP208 (behind right side of dash) first before going to G104....looks like IPC MINI FUSE 19 and BCM1 & IPC MINI FUSE 25 feed it from the IP Fuse Block. If you're near Monmouth County and need help bring it by !!

Today I hooked back up the battery and it works now. It might have dried after removing the cover. The joys of owning a convertible. Only problem now is the telescoping steering wheel won't retract. I can hear the electric motor engage to extend it but it's extended all the way, but not to retract it. I probably need to hunt down a leak for the convertible top as well.

Might have something to do with the seat cause when I tried move the seat I was somehow retracting the steering wheel. The switch might be shot.

Did I mention how awesome it is to own a convertible? Anyway so I removed the drivers seat and took out the module that controls the steering wheel and stuff and found corrosion. I fixed the breaks in the circuit with some wire and soldering and everything works now.
